In the grand picture in our lives battling lupus, the proclamation, “I have lupus, lupus does NOT have ME,” gives warriors power to live well beyond lupus. Of course we have bad days, sometimes bad months, sometimes even bad years. But, the whole premise behind, “I have lupus, lupus does NOT have ME,” is to take back our mind and spiritual power in dealing with what lupus brings. It helps us know lupus may get us down, but we come back fighting harder daily for our lives. The statement proclaims, we will not let lupus take over our lives and make us think that every day is a bad day because of lupus, even when we have good days. Most importantly the proclamation, “I have lupus, lupus does NOT have ME,” signifies no matter what lupus brings you will get up and fight for your right to live beyond lupus. I have lupus , lupus does NOT have ME! Not just a statement, But a promise to always fight for our right to live beyond lupus! #LupusInColor
