We have started our 2nd Annual 28 Day Winter Wonderland Get Moving and Walk Challenge. Thanks to everyone that has signed up so far.
This challenge was created help the lupus warrior get moving. You don’t have to do long hard workouts to get your body moving. It is geared to create a habit and help you alleviate pain. You can do chair exercises if you have mobility issues, walking, running or a set workout routine. We just ask you take 10 minutes of your day to get it done.
We know that regular exercise has been shown to improve your health significantly. Exercise can help to improve mental function, reduce your risk for additional chronic disease and manage your weight.
During this challenge, the most important thing is to do what works best for you to get moving and to have fun with it. We ask that you move at least 10 minutes a day. There are many ways to do this through for example through cardio, strength training, calisthenics and flexibility.
