7 Day Mindful Eating Challenge
Day 3

Begin the meal with some deep breaths and a pause to become fully present. As you breath deep bring your attention to your head, face, and neck, releasing any tension or tightness as you exhale.
Challenge: Use your senses as you eat. Notice the colors of the food, how the food smells, food textures, and any sounds of your fork hitting the plate or your chewing.
Meal Affirmation: I am free from old patterns and habits that involved food. I appreciate and give thanks for every aspect of this food.
What is Mindful Eating? Mindful eating is being fully present when you eat. Tuning into your thoughts and feelings in the present moment. It is a tool that can help improve your relationship with food. The purpose is to bring awareness to the nourishing aspects of food, recognizing your hunger and fullness signs, choosing foods that are both enjoyable and nutritious and to tune into how your body reacts to food.
