7 Day Mindful Eating Challenge
Day 7-Think About Why You Are Eating
You may only eat when you are hungry, in which case today’s challenge will be an easy one for you! However, some people eat for many other reasons. If you have difficulty controlling your eating, mindful eating can help you. If you feel you need some extra help with controlling your eating it is important that you go to visit a doctor to discuss your personal needs with them.
Challenge: Ask yourself, Did I only eat when I was are hungry today? Did I ‘comfort eat’? Did I eat socially? Did I find it difficult to stop eating even when I was full? Why do I think this is?
Meal Affirmation: The thoughts I think are as important as the food I eat. I eat when I am hungry and hold space for my emotions with compassion.
