Flight of the Butterflies is a lupus awareness campaign sharing stories of the brave lupus warriors. Many don’t understand lupus until they hear the walk of a warrior. Flight of the Butterflies is dedicated to sharing those Butterfly of Hope stories in May for lupus awareness month.

My name is Kimberly Boddie and I have been diagnosed with lupus for 3 years. I think the hardest part for me is the fatigue.
On my lupus journey I have learned that doctors have not been trained enough in this area.
My advice to those newly diagnosed is to be an advocate for yourself.
My strength comes from my Faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
