Flight of the Butterflies is a lupus awareness campaign sharing stories of the brave lupus warriors. Many don’t understand lupus until they hear the walk of a warrior. Flight of the Butterflies is dedicated to sharing those Butterfly of Hope stories in May for lupus awareness month.

My name is Crystal Harper and I have had lupus for 13 years.
The hardest part of having lupus for me is not knowing how you are going to feel on a day to day basis.
One piece of advice for newly diagnosed that I would give would be to take it one day at a time; listen to your body and be the captain of your health
My strength, my family and knowing that not everyday will be peaches and cream but you get through it and tell yourself better days are coming.
