Flight of the Butterflies is a lupus awareness campaign sharing stories of the brave lupus warriors. Many don’t understand lupus until they hear the walk of a warrior. Flight of the Butterflies is dedicated to sharing those Butterfly of Hope stories in May for lupus awareness month.

I have been diagnosed since March of 2013.
The hardest part for me is having no support and doctors misdiagnosing me and not believing me.
I have learned to take it one day at a time.
One piece of advice that I will give is that it’s ok not to be ok.
What keeps me strong is my grandkids and kids and knowing that my bloodline is going and my faith in God.
