Flight of the Butterflies is a lupus awareness campaign sharing stories of the brave lupus warriors. Many don’t understand lupus until they hear the walk of a warrior. Flight of the Butterflies is dedicated to sharing those Butterfly of Hope stories in May for lupus awareness month.

I have been diagnosed for 30 years.
The hardest part of having lupus for me is organ damage & organ failure.
I have learned to never be ashamed of my limitations, speak my truth no mater what, my health comes first.
One piece of advice I would give newly diagnosed is to connect to Lupus community to find proper education and support for yourself.
My Faith in God and sharing my Lupus journey to help myself and others keeps me strong.
