Day 21 – Breathe Intentionally
Empower Yourself: “Each breath brings me closer to my center where peace and balance reside.”
Wellness Action: Practice 4-7-8 breathing for one minute. Inhale for 4, Hold for 7, Exhale for 8.
Tip: Start by just breathing normally, then begin as you allow yourself to tune into your breath.
Affirmation: “I breathe in healing and I breathe out stress.”
Journal Prompt: What am I holding on to and storing in my body that I need to exhale and release from every fiber of my being?
4-7-8 breathing can directly target your body’s stress response and emotional toll of lupus.
This breathing technique can help reduce stress, ease anxiety, improve sleep, & ease fatigue & pain.
It’s like a pause button for lupus chaos, a way to soften both the physical tension and the emotional storm.
