I’d like to begin by saying that living with SLE and Discord Lupus requires remarkable resilience. We’re all navigating life’s challenges. My personal battle is against Lupus, a fight I’ve been waging since my diagnosis in December 2017.
Although I’ve been experiencing symptoms since age 18, including a high-risk pregnancy and heartbreaking miscarriages, I remain steadfast.
Fast-forward to the present, I’m still persevering through numerous doctor’s appointments, frequent bloodwork, multiple falls, hospital visits, and rehabilitation.
Currently, I’m facing a rare and life-threatening spinal cord infection, but I’m trusting in the power of faith to carry me through.
