The reality of lupus is that the treatment never ends. It is ongoing, difficult and needed to survive! You can’t ring the bell at your last treatment, because there is no last treatment and be lupus free. You can only honk a horn to get lupus’ attention and make it move a little to the side to get around it to live. Lupus, the disease that takes a lot out of you as it attempts to destroy you slowly in its attack as you do whatever it takes to stay alive and well. #LupusInColor
