Here are the Walking Rules for Walktober. These are some guidelines to help empower you day to day.
RULE NUMBER 1
CHALLENGE. Challenge yourself to begin walking for your health. Start slow and build up to challenge yourself. Every challenge will bring you strength and hope in healthier days beyond lupus.

RULE NUMBER 2
CONSISTENT. Stay consistent in moving your body in order to feel and see results. Every day you are consistent in moving is a battle won over lupus. Stay firm in your intention to feel better beyond lupus.

RULE NUMBER 3
PERSEVERANCE. Perseverance is consciously choosing to stay on your path even in the midst of incredible difficulties. No matter what, don’t give up on moving your body in order to feel better beyond lupus.

RULE NUMBER 4
ACCOMPLISH. There is such joy in feeling like you accomplished goals that you never thought you would. Set small goals every day to get that euphoric feeling of I GOT IT DONE! Step by step you can accomplish doing what feels right for you. Be proud of yourself on this walking journey.
