Flight of the Butterflies is a lupus awareness campaign sharing stories of the brave lupus warriors. Many don’t understand lupus until they hear the walk of a warrior. Flight of the Butterflies is dedicated to sharing those Butterfly of Hope stories in May for lupus awareness month.

I got diagnosed with Lupus in 2018, I am going on 6 yrs living with Lupus.
The hardest part of having lupus is the unpredictable part. Not knowing what your day to day may look like no matter how hard you try to prepare.
I have learned to dance, jig,smile in the rain,storm,blizzard! I stay grounded in my belief and trust the process.
One piece of advice I would give to those newly diagnosed would be to surround yourself with positive people, don’t ignore symptoms or anything unusual, join a support group, and realize self-care is important.
